About

{what we do ~ who we are}

Jenni Weinzetl, N.T.P. is a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner serving the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and worldwide online.

As a functional, holistic approach to wellness, Nutritional Therapy focuses on the biological individuality and innate intelligence of the body to heal and balance itself when supported with a properly prepared, nutrient-dense, whole food diet. Nutritional Therapy supports and balances the foundational needs of the body to be able to function at an optimal level.

Rather than treating a symptom, a Nutritional Therapist supports the whole system by addressing the ROOT of the issue.

Through carefully designed individual dietary plans, along with lifestyle adjustments, functional testing, and specific supplemental recommendations, Nutritional Therapy promotes optimal health - effectively balancing body chemistry and reducing, or even eliminating dysfunction.

Jenni continued on the journey with her passion of helping others through real food and completed the  Nutritional Therapy Practitioner course through the Nutritional Therapy Association. She was thrilled to find a program whose philosophy matched her love of traditional wisdom in nutrition. She's since earned her certification and has established a practice that allows her to work in her passion, integrating it with being an intentional wife and mama.

Nutritional Therapy

Jenni is a wife to her husband Matt of 14 years and mama to 2 beautiful, healthy girls, Addy (7) and Emma (4). Her passion for health and fitness began when she took a "nutrition" class in college - although it was mainstream, it gave her an awareness of the importance of food and her health. She began to follow the "healthy" low-fat diet that was recommended, partnered with weekly exercise, she was well on her way to optimum health...or so she thought. When her and her husband were ready to start a family, nothing was happening. It didn’t make sense; she was doing everything “right” according to what the mainstream health field was telling her.  It wasn’t until a friend introduced her to Nourishing Traditions, by Sally Fallon,  President of the Weston A. Price Foundation and learning about Weston A. Price (a nutritional pioneer & dentist who studied traditional diets around the world) that the dots started to connect. OUR BODIES NEED FAT (along with other REAL nutrient dense foods)! Healthy fat from real, clean, whole food sources – every single cell (and babies cells) are composed of fat. Hormones necessary for reproduction need fat. No wonder there were no buns being baked in her oven, her buns couldn’t rise without the right ingredients and her oven wasn’t turning on!

Once she began eating a traditional, nutrient dense, whole food diet, it was about 6 months later (after 2 years of trying before her diet change) that her first child was conceived. She was  born healthy and strong.

For the past 6 years Jenni has been on a mission to help, encourage and educate people with eating traditional, whole food, nutrient dense diets; in turn, bettering their lives and the lives of future generations. Her heart is to support other families in their individual journeys towards health.

Meet Jenni

As a Nutritional Therapist, my mission is to identify the root of an issue and distinguish ways to support and nourish the body to enable it to begin the process of healing; the journey towards restoration of its brilliant, God given design.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. I'd love to come alongside to help you nourish your roots well."

Blessings,

Jenni Weinzetl, N.T.P.
